Overview:

The Psychology Service offers specific clinical psychology and neuorpsychology services to referrers in the hospital. The Psychology Department offers a full continuum of Behavioral Health Services for many emotional, behavioral and developmental disorders.
Clinical Psychologists are trained to comprehensively assess cognitive functioning within a developmental framework. They are skilled in the assessment and understanding of the effects of brain function on the individual's cognitive, behavioural and emotional states.
Clinical Psychologists specialize in the assessment and understanding of the interaction between cognitive, developmental, psycho-social and environmental factors on normal and psychopathological functioning in children & adults. They are also trained in making diagnoses by psychometric test and in a variety of psychological therapeutic techniques.
